Register online

Florida allows online voter registration. You'll need a Florida driverโ€™s license or state ID and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.

Register by mail

Download a Florida Voter Registration Application and mail it in. It must be received by the registration deadline (typically 29 days before Election Day).

Register in person

You can register at your county Supervisor of Elections office, a DMV location, or designated public agencies. Florida does NOT offer same-day voter registration.

Apply online at https://www.vote.org/absentee-ballot/ or contact your county clerk. Do this early โ€” allow 1โ€“2 weeks for delivery.

Complete your ballot

Follow all instructions carefully. Missing a signature or using the wrong envelope are the most common reasons ballots are rejected.

Return your ballot

Mail it back (allow time for delivery), drop it at a drop box, or return it in person to any early voting location or your polling place.
